Jennifer Gold practices transformative mediation to help spouses and common-law partners improve their relationship and understanding of each other.
She completed the Certificate in Family Mediation at York University and is an associate member of the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM).
She serves on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Law Association of Ontario and is a member of the Peel Law Association. She has formerly served on the Board of Directors for North York Women’s Shelter. Jennifer serves as a mentor to other lawyers in the Family Law Bar.
Jennifer is a 2017 recipient of the Lexpert Zenith Awards celebrating the advancement of women in the legal profession.
By entering into partnership, Jennifer Gold and Frances "Frankie" Wood sought to create an alternative to the traditional law firm and thereby achieve work-life balance and a diverse workplace. Their efforts were noted by reporter Carol Goar in her November 13, 2014 article for The Toronto Star entitled, “Women Create Family-Friendly Law Practice.”
When Jennifer is not practicing law and managing a law firm, she enjoys spending time with her family and singing with a highly competitive women’s barbershop chorus, where she enjoys her role as Team Leader to the chorus management team.
She graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in English and Psychology and holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. She was called to the Bar in 2002. She is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada.
